Elizabeth “Kathy’’ Kathlene (Henderson) Thomas, 76, of Springfield, was born May 1, 1949 in Springfield to Forest Henderson and Anna Young and died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, in Springfield.
She is survived by her husband Lowell Thomas of the home; four daughters, Carla Hayes and her husband Dirk, Alisha Thomas, Patty Mabe and her husband Tim, Jewel Sorenson; one son, Don Thomas and his wife Darlene; one sister, Wilda Taylor and her husband Ken; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mansfield. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or to Shriners Hospital for Children.
