Ethel Roberta Sheppard, 91, of Mountain Grove, was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Deepwater, Mo. to John Theodore and Geneva B. (Cummings) Mitchell and died Friday, March 20, 2026, in Houston, Mo.
She is survived by two sons, Ted Sheppard (Barbara) and Toby Sheppard (Kristen), both of Cabool; a daughter, Becky Scott (Wes) of Cabool; 14 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Burial will be in Broyles Cemetery near Hartville. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Broyles Cemetery Fund.
