Frances Dedmon, 87, of Mansfield, was born Oct. 25, 1938 in Douglas County and died Sunday, March 15, 2026, at her home.
She is survived by a son, Michael Dedmon and his wife Nancy, a daughter Kathy Dotson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Priscilla Logan; a brother-in-law, Paul Miller, and a sister-in-law, Kay Patterson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2026 at Mount Zion Baptist Church near Hartville, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Hartville.
A memorial has been established to St. Jude or Mission Dignity and contributions can be left at the funeral home.
