Fred “Sonny’’ Morris Jr., 88, of Mountain Grove, was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Mountain Home, Ark. to Fred A. and Mary Ann (Dyer) Morris and died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, in Mountain Grove.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Morris (Loretta) of Mountain Grove and Tony Morris of Springfield; a daughter, Cherol Packard of Mountain Grove; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.; two sisters, Connie Dooms (Dean) and Jackie Morris; and a sister-in-law, Karla Morris.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
