The Lebanon girls varsity swim team took third place out of 17 schools on Saturday at the Parkview Valkyrie Invitational. head coach David Krev wrote to the Record Monday.
He was pleased with the results, saying the team great performances many times for the first after-break meet.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Missy Mizell, Evelyn Martin, Addyson McKnight, and Milly Hough place (2:04.11 minutes) out of 11 scored teams.
In the 200-yard freestyle race, McKnight took fourth place (2:26.09 minutes), Olivia Johnson ninth (2:35.95 minutes), Abigail Tague 14th (2:46.01 minutes), and Kamilla Windsor 18th (2:52.98 minutes) out of 31 swimmers.
Martin took third place (2:26.86 minutes) in the 200-yard individual medley out of 18 scored swimmers.
In the 50-yard freestyle Mizell took first place (25.12 seconds), Hough tied for 12th (29.8 seconds), Addalynne Buttram took 33rd (35.09 seconds), and Marissa Gress tied for 36th (36.3 seconds) out of 48 scored swimmers.
Martin took third place (1:07.24 minutes) in the 100-yard butterfly out of 16 scored swimmers.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Mizell took first place (56.92 seconds), McKnight took fourth (1:03.81 minutes) and Leeann Westergaard took 33rd (1:24.14 minutes) out of 46 scored swimmers.
Hough took third place (6:41.27 minutes), Johnson fourth (6:53.45 minutes) and Tague 16th (7:52.8 minutes) out of 21 swimmers in the 500-yard freestyle.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of Hough, Martin, McKnight, and Mizell took first place (1:50.1 minutes) out of 13 scored teams.
Angelique Osburn took 29th place (1:36.41 minutes), Westergaard 33rd (1:42.06 minutes), Buttram 37th (1:48.25 minutes), and Gress 43rd (2:19.13 minutes) out of 43 swimmers in the 100-yard backstroke.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Windsor took 17th place (1:37.79 minutes) out of 33 scored swimmers.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Johnson, Aubrey Vanhooser, Gress and Tague took 13th place (5:28.98 minutes) out of 14 scored teams.
Monett High School took first place overall, Carl Junction second, and Lebanon third.
According to a previously provided schedule, the next meet is this Saturday’s Ozarks Invitational at the John H. Foster Natatorium, which is in Springfield.
