The Lebanon girls varsity swim team took third place at the Lady Zizzer Invitational on Monday, head varsity swim coach David Krev reported to the Record.
Krev said the team continued to swim well with another great meet.
The meet results are below according to the results document Krev provided (unless otherwise noted). He explained that SC stands for short course, where the pool’s length is 25 meters.
Lebanon took third place out of six ranked schools.
The Lebanon 200 SC meter medley relay team of Missy Mizell, Evelyn Martin, Addyson McKnight and Milly Hough took first place (finals time of 2:19.8 minutes STAT – Krev explained that meant the time met state consideration times) out of five scored teams.
In the 200 SC meter freestyle race, Hough took third place (finals time of 2:50.31 minutes), Olivia Johnson took fourth (2:56.23 minutes), and Leeann Westergaard took 13th (3:37.73 minutes) out of 13 scored swimmers.
Mizell took first place (finals time of 2:39.30 minutes) out of 11 scored swimmers in the 200 SC meter individual medley. Krev said she met the state consideration time.
Martin won first place (finals time of 1:15.79 minutes) out of eight scored swimmers in the 100 SC meter butterfly.
In the 100 SC meter freestyle, Mizell took first place (finals time of 1:02.45 minutes), McKnight fourth (1:10.41 minutes), Hough ninth (1:15.89 minutes), and Angelique Osburn 16th (1:49.50 minutes) out of 17 scored swimmers. Krev said Mizell’s performance broke pool and meet records and met the state consideration time.
In the 400 SC meter freestyle, Johnson took third (finals time of 6:07.19 minutes) and Westergaard 10th (7:48.85 minutes) out of 12 swimmers.
Neither of the two Lebanon relay teams placed in the top five teams for the 200 SC meter freestyle relay.
McKnight took first place (finals time of 1:20.70 minutes) and Braylee Breedlove 15th (2:01.38 minutes) out of 17 scored swimmers in the 100 SC meter backstroke.
In the 100 SC meter breaststroke, Windsor took eighth place (finals time of 1:50.65 minutes), Buttram 13th (2:13.93 minutes) and Gress 14th (2:36.89 minutes) out of 14 scored swimmers.
The 400 SC meter freestyle relay team of Martin, Hough, McKnight, and Mizell took first place (finals time of 4:41.59 minutes) out of five scored teams. This time also met the state consideration time.
