Gantner Erwin “Erv’’ Martin, 89, of Buffalo, was born July 7, 1938, in California to Gantner Joseph and Gladys (Holmes) Martin and died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, in Buffalo.
He is survived by his wife Kay Martin; his children, Dean Martin of Canby, Ore., Sheri Arnold of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Dana Pincock of Bossier City, La.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Pastor Vicki Coons officiating. Burial will be in Bowers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Grace Community Church or the Bowers Chapel Cemetery.
