James “Peanut’’ Ray Jones, 71, of Mansfield, was born March 6, 1954, in Claremore, Okla. to Frank Jones and Erline Davis and died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, at his home.
He is survived by his children, Frank Jones and his wife Michelle, Kevin Jones and his wife Kendra and Michelle Jones, all of Mansfield; two sisters, Lisha Wallace and her husband Bob, and Valarie Hastings; one brother, Giles Jones; one brother-in-law, Mike Shelton; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mansfield.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family, and contributions can be left at the funeral home.
