Janice Lee Maddux, 75, of Springfield, formerly of Louisburg, was born May 25, 1950, in Louisburg to James Myron Wise and Helen G. (Soloman) Wise and died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.
She is survived by four children, Jamie Maddux-Furr (David), Mindy Maddux, Justin Maddux (Elizabeth), Lisa Irvine (Mike); three grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Patty Smith of Huntsville, Ala.; one brother-in-law, Louis Maddux (Jean) of Lebanon.
A Celebration of Life was held from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at Relics Event Center in Springfield. A private graveside service will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo at a later date, under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
