Jim (James) Harley Vandergriff, 82, died on May 2, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Jurich; his siblings, Jerry Vandergriff and Beverly (Bev) Burd; his daughter, Amy Belcher (Vandergriff); four grandchildren, Jacob Albin, Gabriella Albin, Emma Belcher and Allison Belcher; two great-grandchildren, Bryer Spender and Tatum Spencer, and two nieces he raised for a time, Nita McGraw; Debbie Penn, with whom he shared a special relationship, as well as many numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and second cousins.
A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 1100 North Pine, Richland, Missouri, Jim’s hometown.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Chapel of Richland.
