John Bowman, 75, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026 peacefully at Cox Hospital from Parkinson’s.
John was born on Jan. 6, 1951 in Lebanon, Mo. Preceded in death by his parents, William W. Bowman and Betty Jayne Howard.
John is survived by siblings: Charles Bowman, Becky Rousselot, Keith Bowman, Valerie Shaver, Scott and Jody Bowman, Rhonda and Dale Cardwell.
John was a very contented bachelor and never had children. However, he shared all his love among many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins and their children.
John was a man of many talents: making countless friends, growing beautiful flowers, building his home by himself, and tinkering on his truck. He was a true friend. Two besties Shannon and Todd of over fifty years. Also Anita and her dad Harold and Carolyn of California. A big shoutout to his loyal friend, Bill and wife Valarie who was there ’til the end. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Also a shoutout to Hartville Care Center: all the new loving friends he made and the wonderful care they gave him.
A Celebration of Life will be announced later.
