Lady ‘Jackets fall in district semifinals

The end of a season is challenging for every program, but when you are a team that is graduating two of its key seniors, including your all-time leading scorer, that moment is always a bit tougher. The Lebanon High School girls’ basketball team ended its season on Saturday afternoon in the Class 6 District 2 quarterfinals, falling to Parkway South, 54-47. Lebanon finished with a 16-11 record for the year and will say goodbye to seniors Raegan McCowan and Heaven Shockley. The dynamic duo combined for just over 40 points per game while McCowan broke the all-time scoring record, and Shockley broke the single-season blocked shots record in her one season at LHS.
