Lebanon Police launch new officer commendation, complaint program

Posted
The Lebanon Police Department on Monday announced a new program that Chief Jerry Harrison said is aimed at strengthening community trust and enhancing transparency within the department. This program introduces a streamlined process for citizens to submit commendations for exemplary officer behavior and file complaints for perceived police misconduct. To facilitate open communication, the LPD now offers both commendation and complaint forms. These forms are easily accessible to all community members, providing a direct channel for feedback on officer conduct. “Our new complaint and commendations process is intended to strengthen community trust in the LPD,” said Harrison in a written statement. “This program allows us to recognize and celebrate exemplary behavior and outstanding service by our officers, while also providing a formal mechanism for reporting and addressing any perceived misconduct."
