Leon Leonard McIntosh, 79, of Norwood, was born Oct. 7, 1946, in Springfield to Leonard and Mabel (Nullie) McIntosh and died Thursday, March 5, 2026, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Nola of the home; a daughter, Carolyn “Willie’’ Broman and her husband Roger off Festus; two brothers, Jerry McIntosh of Holden and Mark McIntosh and his wife Missy of Norwood; four sisters, Della Storms of Rogersville, Carolyn Jurewicz and her husband Tony of Mansfield, Linda Hancock and her husband Wayne of Norwood, and Rose Sparks and her husband Clint of Ennis, Texas; a brother-in-law, Hubert Hart of Isabella, also two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Burial will be in McIntosh Cemetery at Macomb. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to Wounded Warrior Project.
