Lewis Steve Potter, 76, of Buffalo, was born Jan. 4, 1950, in Springfield to Steve Potter Jr. and Jewell Dean (Hill) Potter and died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, in Buffalo.
He is survived by his wife Joyce; two sons, Darren Stidham and his wife Dawn of Buffalo and Jeff Stidham and his wife Ronda, all of Buffalo; one brother, James Potter of Buffalo; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, in High Prairie Christian Church with Janet Wells officiating. Burial will be in High Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to High Prairie Christian Church.
