LMS celebrates messy Pi Day

A student got to put a pie in their teacher’s face as part of a good behavior reward

A Lebanon Middle School teacher received a pie in the face on Pi Day Monday. Math teacher Grace Werner took the whipped cream pie to the face as part of a positive behavior reward and it was all in fun. “The kids loved it,” Werner said. The event was also a nod to the first three digits of the mathematical constant 3.14, also known as pi, and Albert Einstein’s birthday on March 14. Pi Day is celebrated by math fans all around the world - often with pie to celebrate all things pi. For more on this story see Wednesday's LCR.
