A second quarter surge from the Lebanon High School boys’ basketball team wasn’t enough as the Marshfield Blue Jays prevailed in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday night at Boswell Auditorium, 55-40.
Trailing 16-4 at the end of the first quarter, Lebanon (1-2 overall) knew they had work to do. Lebanon was down 23-12 midway through the second quarter until senior Peyton Mitchell buried two three-pointers, followed by another made three from senior Isaiah Anderson to cut the deficit to two points (23-21).
