Maudie Parthena Howerton, 95, of Phillipsburg, was born Sept. 30, 1930, in Conway to Arthur A. and Stella B. (Allen) Wilson and died Monday, Aug. 25, 2026, in Phillipsburg.
She is survived by three children, Rick Howerton and his wife Janara of Phillipsburg, Vicky Owens of Fair Grove, and Linda Stokes of Lebanon; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, at Phillipsburg Christian Church with Matthew Wilson and Jordan Howerton officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, in the funeral chapel.
