Melissa “Missy’’ Dawn Herring Cantrell, 54, of Marshfield, was born April 6, 1971, in Kansas City to Terrance Herring and Kathy Woodcock Herring and died Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
She is survived by her husband Brian; her children, Katelynne Cantrell Krause and her husband Scott, Daniel Cantrell, Joseph Cantrell and Andrew Cantrell; her parents, Terrance Herring and Kathy Woodcock Herring; her mother-in-law, Dottie Cantrell; siblings, Timothy Herring and his wife Sarah, Denise Calton and her husband JR; Mark Herring and his wife Stacy; Stephen Herring; Micah Herring; Caleb Herring and his wife Nikki; Barak Herring and his wife Rose; and Elizabeth Schroeder; a sister-in-law, Angela Crawford and her husband Brad.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial was to be in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation was 1-2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
