Opal Linda (Sutton) Swanigan, 81, of Buffalo, was born July 29, 1945, to Glenn and Ruby Sutton and died Friday, Sept. 18, 2026.
She is survived by her husband Sidney Eugene; four children, Loretta (Burley) Turner of Long Lane, Michael (Angela) Swanigan of Holts Summit, Cheryl (Dack) Spang of Columbia, and Jennifer (Matthew) Scott of Jefferson City; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, in Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Bro. Michael Swanigan and Alex Scott officiating. Burial will be in Mission Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mission Ridge Cemetery Fund.
