Phyllis Irene Proctor, 83, of Mountain Grove, was born July 10, 1943, in Mountain Grove to William Leonard Hicks and Virgie Lucille (Clark) Hicks-Pamperien and died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, in Springfield.
She is survived by her husband Pete; five children, Russell D. (Martha) Driskell, Jeffery Driskell, Gerald “Jerry’’ Driskell, Bryan (Tina) Proctor, and Tonya (James) Tooley; one brother, Ronald (Mary) Hicks; one sister, Barbara (Alvin) Chandler; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at Southside Baptist Church in Mountain Grove. Burial was in Eaton Cemetery at Dora, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home. Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at the church.
