Shirlie Mae Abbet, 95, of Camdenton, formerly of Lebanon, was born Sept. 12, 1930, in California to Otto and Mae Farwell and died Monday, June 8, 2026, in Osage Beach.
She is survived by two children, Gay Kirtley and her husband Jon of Camdenton and Robert Abbet of Branson; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Mary Farwell of Kirksville and Wilena Farwell of Republic.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Lebanon Cemetery with Pastor Herb Baker officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Canopy Church youth group in Camdenton. Donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 N. Lynn or P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536. (Please make checks payable to Canopy Church).
