Steven Wayne “Steve’’ Zehner, 60, of Sedalia, formerly of Lebanon, died Monday, March 7, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
He was born Jan. 13, 1962, in Troy, N.Y. to Charles Nicholas and Marilyn Ann (Canan) Zehner.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, and his companion, Joy Miller.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked in home healthcare.
Steve attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Survivors include his son Steven Zehner and his fiance’, Genny; two grandchildren, Kaydence Zehner and Kaylee Phillips; those he considered his own kids, Chris Kirby, Joseph Williams, Cole Goodwin and Dan Sutton; and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service for Steven Wayne “Steve’’ Zehner were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022, at Heckart Funeral home in Sedalia.
Memorials are suggested to a fund for his grandchildren’s education, with checks made to Steven Zehner.
