Welcome Norma lay

Welcome Norma Lay, daughter of Richard and Violet (Gray) Stover, was born December 23, 1966, in Camdenton, Missouri and entered her heavenly home on September 29, 2024, at the age of fifty-seven years. 

Welcome was always a very caring and compassionate soul which showed through her work of caregiving within the assisted living community. She had a love for many things throughout her short time here with us. She loved bonfires, and trips to the river were a must, any time she could spend there, she would. She had a love for music and singing karaoke. She was greatly known for her made from scratch meals, specifically her cherry pie. Above all her greatest love was her family. She filled her heart with the memories made with them, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her five sons, Alex Wortham and his wife Irene, Michael Lewis and his significant other Marie, Timmy Stover, Merle Lay and his wife Logan, Troy Lay and his wife Jessica; four brothers, Rick Stover and his wife Patricia, Murrell Adams and his wife Tamara, Jerry Hunsicker and his wife Jen, and Scott Johnson; four sisters, Shelly Wexell and her husband Scott, Jamie Watson and her husband Jesse, Missy Crook and her husband Anthony and Terri Adams; fifteen grandchildren; her significant other Terrell Blender; other relatives and many dear friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; step-mother Selinna Kay Stover, and two brothers Larry and Aaron. 

Services for Welcome Norma Lay will be held at a later date. There is no scheduled visitation at this time.
