Zena Pearl Hayes, 92, of Buffalo, was born July 18, 1933, in Leadmine Mo. to Odas and Myrtle (Jackson) Swanigan and died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at her daughter’s home near Buffalo.
She is survived by a daughter, Lola Ainley and her husband Brian of Buffalo; seven grandchildren, 17-great-grandchildren; one brother, Sydney Swanigan and his wife Opal; two sisters Linda Dryer and Jewel Dryer and her husband Don; one son-in-law, Allen Cannon, and one daughter-in-law. Brenda Stephens.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Pastor Mark Elliott officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Calvary Chapel Members in Need, and can be left at the funeral home.
