The following are briefs for two Lebanon school activities.
The Lebanon Bands Facebook page announced Saturday that four students received all-state honors (confirmed by viewing the results on the Missouri All State Band’s website) after eight traveled that day to audition in the Missouri All-State Band: Declan McSorley (baritone or euphonium, second alternate), Lucas Soum (French horn, sixth chair), Aidan Ziehr (general percussion, first chair), and Gavin Ziehr (timpani, first chair).
Soum, Aiden and Gavin Ziehr will perform with the Missouri All-State Band Jan. 31 in Osage Beach at the Margaritaville Resort, the post said.
The Lebanon High School Activities page noted in a Sunday post that the Lebanon cheer team competed in the NCA Missouri Regional competition in Columbia, which its website says took place Sunday.
Head varsity cheer coach Alexis Kruse wrote to the Record on Monday that the team took "Small: First Place" in Game Day Varsity as well as Voice Excellence.
