Kiwanis plans musical fundraiser for Swifties

The Lebanon Kiwanis Club hopes that fans of Taylor Swift will want to sing along with an upcoming fundraiser featuring her hits. Pam Begley of the Club said they are holding a “Swiftie Singo” at 2 p.m. Oct. 19 in the Mills Center. She explained that “singo” is bingo played with music, in this case the songs of popular music artist Taylor Swift. “When you Google it, you’ll see people in other places doing it, but Kiwanis brought it to Lebanon, Begley said. “It’s been a hit, we’re hoping this event will be a hit too.” For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
