Larry Dale Weddle, 65, of Lebanon, died Wednesday morning, March 21, 2018, in Lebanon.
He was born July 12, 1952, in Lebanon, Mo. to Wallace Monroe and Gladys Elvira Basnett Weddle, who preceded him in death.
On June 4, 1971, he married Jolene Carol Ruble.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon area and attended Cook School before graduating from Lebanon High School. After he and Jolene were married, they made their home near Lebanon and lovingly raised their daughter. Larry worked in his father’s construction business for several years, and then owned and operated his own lawn care business for some time.
Larry had made his profession of faith in Christ and followed the Free Will Baptist faith. He was a licensed Free Will Baptist minister. He had a deep abiding faith in God.
He is survived by his wife, Jolene Ruble Weddle, of the home; a daughter, Melissa Livingston and her husband, Jim, of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Darina Hale and her husband, Jake, Tesha Tookes and her husband, Niam; Noah and Avry Livingston; eight brothers, Stanley Weddle and his wife, Carol, of Kansas City; Wayne Weddle and his wife, Karen, of Fordland; Paul Weddle and his wife, Retta, of Lebanon; Kenneth Weddle, of Lebanon; Roger Weddle and his wife, Pam, of Lebanon; Kent Weddle and his wife, Barb, of Lebanon; Rex Weddle and Jerry Weddle, both of Lebanon; six sisters, Sharon Turner and her husband, Larry, of Lebanon; Peggy Nalls and her husband, Paul, of Lebanon; Juanita Stucki, Barb Lee and her husband, Ron, of Phillipsburg; Elaine Uder and her husband, Gary, of Lebanon; Janice Milliken and her husband, Bruce, of Lebanon, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service and burial for Larry Dale Weddle will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, in Crossroads Cemetery with the Rev. Nathan Ruble and the Rev. Ed Ruble officiating, under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Friends may call at their convenience in the funeral home.
Memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital may be made through the funeral home.
