Snow has made only a brief appearance so far this winter.
But while Laclede County and the rest of southern Missouri isn’t likely to see more white stuff falling from the sky in the next week or so, the return to more normal winter conditions later this month means the area could still receive a significant snowfall.
Gene Hatch, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Springfield said the area could potentially see snow at the end of this month or early February.
