The Lebanon City Council approved changes to its dangerous building ordinance at Monday night’s meeting.

Code Administrator Christina Wagner said the new code dealing with unsafe structures shortens the notification and turnaround time for the interested parties after a building is deemed dangerous. “This shortening of time will simplify and speed up the process of repairing or removing dangerous buildings,” she said.

The new code revises the demolition administrative fee from $100 by changing the fee allocation to 30% of the total demolition cost as the city fee.
