Lebanon welcomed America’s Automotive Trust’s “The Drive Home” Saturday evening as part of a nationwide celebration recognizing the Route 66 Centennial.
The visit, co-sponsored by Shepherd Hills Factory Outlet, brought automotive enthusiasts, historians, and travelers through Route 66 in Laclede County. They were greeted by local auto enthusiasts, including members of the Lebanon-Laclede County Route 66 Society.
During their stop in Lebanon, the group toured the Route 66 Museum, located inside the Lebanon-Laclede County Library, where exhibits showcase the stories, memorabilia, and people that helped shape Route 66. The visit concluded with dinner at Smokin’ Jones BBQ, housed in the historic Wrink’s Market building, a longtime Route 66 fixture.
