Lebanon residents have until Dec. 31 to take an online survey about the city’s plans for a new park.

The Lebanon City Council in September approved the purchase of 20 acres of land along Mountrose Street near Tower Road from David Reid and Rhonda Shank for $240,000. The land was intended to support two community needs: new park space and improved stormwater management in the southeast part of the city, according to a city announcement.

Approximately half of the property will be developed into future park space using Park Sales Tax funding as it becomes available, according to an online statement.
