The Lebanon R-3 School District will no longer require masks in its schools as of May 1.
Masks will now be recommended, but not required, in schools and at school events.
“The opportunity to fully vaccinate staff and the recent sustained period of low case numbers in our community helped district leadership determine this transition date. Masking will continue to be a recommended safety measure when unable to distance,” the district said in an e-mail to parents.
