Anna Mae (Melton) Freeze, 91, of Springfield, formerly of Lebanon, was born March 9, 1932, to John Otis and Millie (Holman) Melton and died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, in Springfield. She is survived by three children, Janet “Jo’’ Baggett (Larry) of Springfield, Jerry Dean Freeze (Kathy) of Wamego, Kan. and Judy Kay Roberts (Joe) of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at Bona Church of Christ. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested to Fair Haven Children’s Home (3132 N. Fairhaven Loop, Strafford, Mo. 65757) or Happy Hollow Bible Camp (P.O. Box 573, Strafford, Mo. 65757).
