Carl Daniel Pendergrass, 73, of Stoutland, was born Jan. 25, 1950, in Laclede County to Bert and Vival Warren Pendergrass and died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, in Stoutland. He is survived by his wife Cindy; two sons, Jason Pendergrass and his wife Christy and Jerad Pendergrass and his wife Cari; a number of grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Hutchcraft, Sharon Hafley and her husband Dan and Judy Owens; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry Francis and his wife Jennifer and Chris Francis and his wife Devonna. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m., also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. There is no scheduled burial. His body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Memorials have been suggested to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
