Thursday’s scheduled preliminary hearing on the Michelle Y. Peters case was rescheduled to a case review on September 27 after a motion for a change of judge was proposed and sustained.
The case, which charges Peters with the felonies of Armed Criminal Action and Assault or the Attempt of in the First Degree, was previously under the jurisdiction of Judge James Stephen Grantham, was reassigned to Judge Michael Gilley.
