City begins work on comprehensive plan

The comprehensive plan for the City of Lebanon is expected to be adopted in May 2024. The City Council and Zoning and Planning Commission kicked off work on the plan at a work session meeting Thursday night. At the conclusion of the meeting, city officials worked on a visioning exercise where they worked as groups to identify issues the city needs to address. Shelby Ferguson, project manager with Olsson Studios, which is working on the plan, said their efforts will continue over the next few months. For more on this story, see the LCR.
