City installs wildlife protection measures for electrical poles

Posted
The City of Lebanon is working to address electrical outages likely caused by its furred, feathered and scaled neighbors this season, according to city officials. City communications manager Derek Gean noted that wildlife-related outages tend to increase during the fall and that the city continues to install wildlife protection measure to meet this challenge. However, it's a methodical process, spanning multiple fiscal years. Though we’ve seen notable success in reducing the number of outages, the risk remains, and this is something we’re aiming to educate the public about,” wrote Gean in an email.
