Community Cares takes Day of Giving fundraiser to the street next week

This Thursday will see volunteers from across the county take to four intersections of Lebanon to raise funds for the Community Cares program. According to the Lebanon Area Foundation press release, the Community Cares Day of Giving is crucial for the program’s fall fundraising for local nonprofits. The release adds that the Community Cares program supports 28 nonprofits in Laclede County. “Every year we take a chance, and we ask,” said Lebanon Area Foundation and Community Cares Administrator Melinda Fries. “And we’re just grateful for whatever the community is willing to give us.” For more on this story, see Saturday's LCR.
