The Lebanon R-3 School Board has hired Ora “Brent” Snyder as the new assistant principal at Esther Elementary. Snyder is currently a seventh grade science teacher at Lebanon Middle School.

He will be assistant principal to Shalyn Howe, who is moving into the principal role in July after past principal Dr. Sheila Moore was named director of early childhood.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Snyder back to Esther,” Howe said. “Mr. Snyder is a former 1st grade teacher and has a love for working with students this age. He brings experience and high energy to the Esther team.”

Snyder has worked for Lebanon Schools for seven total years as a first grade teacher, a sixth grade English language arts teacher, a seventh grade science teacher and as a special education paraprofessional. In the 2015-16 school year, Snyder served as an assistant principal in the Sante Fe School District in New Mexico.
