Laclede County voters will decide on candidates for the November general election in the primary to be held Tuesday.
Republican and Democratic primaries will be held Tuesday. No Democratic candidates have filed for Laclede County offices, meaning they will be unopposed on the November ballot.
Contested races include sheriff with candidates Matt Frederick and Gregory Mattes and assessor with Julie Rayl-Gilstrap and Bett Burroughs. The other race is for eastern district county commissioner with candidates Adam Fries, David Miller, Laina Starnes and Erik Lindsey running against incumbent David Layman.
