Gregory “Greg’’ David Franklin, 40, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, in Lebanon.
He was born Feb. 26, 1981, in Springfield, Mo. to Robert Dale Franklin and Guylene Jennings Franklin.
Greg was preceded in death by his father; brother, Robert Dale Franklin II “Robbie’’; brother, Cole Conner Franklin; and sister, Amanda Wilson Franklin.
He attended schools in Buffalo and Lebanon, and later earned his GED. He had many talents and abilities and could work on almost anything. He enjoyed working on cars, computers and doing construction. He owned Franklin First Home Inspections. Greg liked to trout fish and loved playing poker (he was quite good at it) and working out at the gym. Greg loved most of all his family; he had a heart of gold, was very generous and kind, and always was willing to help out in any way he could.
Survivors include his mother, Guylene Franklin of the home; stepmother, Mindy Franklin of Lebanon; his other mother, Sharon Jennings Null; brothers, Taylor Franklin and Adam Conner and wife Jasha, all of Lebanon; sister, Jessica Franklin of Phillipsburg; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
No services will be held at this time for Greg Franklin. Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
