Irven Kresse Jr., 91, of Stoutland, was born July 14, 1932, in Kansas City to Irven Kresse Sr. and Gladys Smith Kresse and died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, in Stoutland. He is survived by his wife Freda; two daughters, Cheryl Whynaucht and her husband Mark of Stoutland and Rebecca Webb and her husband Darron of O’Fallon; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Kresse of Warsaw; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Marshall of Stoutland, Wayne Marshall and his wife Sharon of Willard, and Calvin Kamradt of Kansas City. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. There will be a burial at a later date at Stoutland Cemetery. His body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Memorials have been suggested to Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warriors.
