James “Jim’’ Arthur Davis, 83, of Crocker, was born Sept. 14, 1940, at Moberly to Cressie and Mildred (Rutledge) Davis and died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at his home near Crocker.
He is survived by his wife Beth of the home; his children, James (Shannon) Davis, of Dalton, Ga., Timothy Davis and Anita Davis, both of Crocker; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Christy.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel in Crocker. Burial with military honors was in the Hawkeye Cemetery near Crocker. Memorials are suggested in his memory and may be made through the funeral home.
