Jerry Lee Day, 76, of Marshfield, was born June 4, 1948, in Omaha, Neb. to Curtis and Tennie (Shimel) Day and died Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of the home; a daughter, Shannon Johnson and husband Jeff; two sons, John Day and wife Cara, and Josh Day and wife Valerie; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Day of St. Joseph, and Roger Day of Maryville.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Hartville. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2024, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DVA) and left in care of the funeral home.
