Kenneth Paul Walker, 82, of Grovespring, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, in Independence.
He was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Grovespring, Mo. to Alexander Toliver and Nora Arlene (Rue) Walker.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Faye Nutter, Irene Wiens, and Zoe Schulze; one brother, Andy Walker, and one great-grandson, Jackson Gregory.
In June 1959 he married Marjorie North and to this union three children were born. He worked at several factories and retired as a union laborer for Local No. 663 in Kansas City, Mo. He also ran a dairy and beef farm. He loved to fish, ride four wheelers and picking out walnuts. He also loved his great-grandchildren.
Paul attended Mount Zion Cuba Free will Baptist Church near Grovespring.
He is survived by three children, Paul (Beth) Walker of Lebanon; Paula Walker of Phillipsburg, and George Walker of Phillipsburg; five grandchildren, Katie (Thomas) Gregory, Zachary (Kayla) Walker, Amanda (Karl) Elliott, Trista (Chris) Hester and Ethan Walker; eight great-grandchildren, Matthew Elliott, Abby and Audrey Hester, Grayci, Fynnli, Anora, and Lincoln Gregory, and Hadli Walker; one brother, John (Mae) Walker of Indiana.
