Pay, transfers, new ventures among reasons for departures

The Lebanon Board of Public Works discussed ongoing efforts to address departmental staffing shortages amid other business during Wednesday’s meeting. Environmental Superintendent Eric Mork spoke on the department’s work to replace six vacant positions, with the department having interviewed for five by that Wednesday. “Then, as you start losing people, it puts stress on the rest of the team, and so it almost becomes a snowball,” Director Richard Shockley later added.
