Lucille Jackson, 91, of Grovespring, was born Feb. 9, 1932, near Long Lane to Samuel Swigert and Esther Chapman Swigert and died Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, in Mercy Hospital Lebanon. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Maxwell and Penny Dame and her husband Chris, all of Grovespring; two sons, Rick Jackson and his wife Marsha of Conway, and Randy Jackson of Lebanon; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Morgan Baptist Church. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial was in Ozark Community Cemetery under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. A memorial to Ozark Community Cemetery or St. Jude Children’s Hospital has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.
