Main Street workshop brings about 100 people to Lebanon

A Main Street training conference brought about 100 people to Lebanon Wednesday and Thursday. The Missouri Main Street Connection Director’s Meeting and Quarterly Workshop meeting included a workshop session Thursday and a tour of Downtown Lebanon buildings Wednesday. After arriving at the Cowan Civic Center, the attendees received a greeting Thursday morning from Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr and Downtown Board president Steve Hite. Carr said the city and Board were all working toward revitalizing Downtown. “I can remember when I was a kid going shopping there, being downtown going store to store, for whatever reason it decayed over time and it’s really come back in the last five to 10 years, we’re really pleased with where it’s going,” Carr said.
