MARY ANNE NUTTER

Posted

Mary Anne Nutter, 85, of Lebanon, Mo., passed away Tuesday, December 26th at her family home in Lebanon. Mary Anne was born May 31st, 1938, in La Porte, Texas to Claud and Esther Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Chester Lewis, her son; Larry David Nutter, and the father of her children and the love of her life; Larry Don Nutter.

Mary Anne is survived by her sisters; Betty Free of La Porte, Texas and Claude Menard of Jacksonville, Texas, a daughter; Connie Rangel and husband Fernand of Slidell, Louisiana, grandchildren; David, Meredith, Kevin, Melissa, Shaun, Samuel, Brian, Deborah, Rebekah, Simon and Mallory.

Mother (Mary) loved to travel and embraced her husband’s 28 years of military service. After they retired to Lebanon, she still enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family across the U.S.  We were blessed with  her three meals a day and always had dessert after dinner, Sunday was pot roast.  The beds were always made, dishes were washed by hand and never left undone, she even ironed the blue jeans.

Maybe reading these few lines her life may sound simple, but those things filled her days as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Those loving comfort-giving gifts will be greatly missed.

We would like to acknowledge Integrity Hospice and Shadels Colonial Chapel for their wonderful care and service at this time.  A special thank you to her dear friends, Bonnie Agee and Robin Scarborough for the love and time they shared with mother.

There will be a service at a later date for Mary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Sign guest book at www.shadelscolonialchapel.com.
